What an inspiring week at Okimo Clinic! I typically choose my travel destinations based on the local cuisine and restaurant scene and I couldn’t have been happier when we decided to pay a visit to the delicious Copenhagen with the team.
In between workshops and meeting our colleagues at Marketing Clinic Denmark, we treated ourselves with some classic local dishes (and bacon). Below are some of my favourite places that I think are worth checking out if in town. Also check out hashtag #okimotravels on Instagram.
Breakfast: Union Kitchen, near Nyhavn. Their breakfast sets were massive and there was tons of bacon and avocado involved.
Breakfast or brunch: Cafe Europa 1898, nice view to Amagertorv.
Stylish smørrebrød lunch: Almanak, amazing views over the canal, delicious and creative dishes.
Cute and comfy lunch: Royal Smushi Cafe, sushi meets danish smørrebrød. This restaurant looks insane with all their fairytale baroque decorations but we decided to enjoy our lunch on the lovely terrace.
Amazing sourdough pizza: Mother, this is almost too good to be true! I recommend “Burning Love” pizza with potatoes. Make sure to reserve a table for dinner!
Post-pizza drinks: Mikkeller Bar, a cool place for beer enthusiasts. Not being a huge beer fan myself I have to admit this place was a positive surprise and definitely worth a visit!
After hours of workshopping and eating in Copenhagen, our team is inspired, refreshed and ready to kick off projects with old and new customers. Looking forward to an exciting autumn!
