Curiosity pushed humankind into space and to the moon. Today, it drives us to accept new challenges and reach for Mars. The newest Red Planet exploration rover, Curiosity, was even named after this most human of attributes. We at Okimo Clinic also value curiosity highly and are aware that there are always brave souls around us who want to discover new things and learn from them. That is why we have decided to launch our own Curiosity Programme.

Okimo Clinic Curiosity

First, we made a flyer that was aimed at sparking curiosity among colleagues from our sister companies. Then we patiently waited for first contact. And a response signal reached us very quickly thereafter! It was the first adventurous person, who replied that she would be interested in working and learning alongside us. And thus, our programme had officially launched.

Its initial premise was simple — each Curiosity participant joins us Okimonians for a week. At the same time, he or she, keeps on working on his or her own projects, but together we exchange knowledge, have conversations about our everyday tasks and share tips on how to be more effective. Curiosity participants can also join our weekly meetings and take part in Okimo Pause — a gathering held on Fridays, during which presentations are given over lunch. The ultimate goal of the programme is to get to know each other better and to boost effective cooperation between colleagues.

Great people = great success

We don’t like to brag, but we must say that so far, the programme has been a success! After the first courageous few people joined Curiosity and shared their opinions on it, slots for the coming months filled almost instantly. We would like to thank all of those who joined. At the same time, we would also like to invite the next potential crew members to hop on board our mothership and personally experience our work culture, which we are so proud of.

If you too are a curious person, have a look at our social media channels to learn more about the programme and its past participants. They are all wonderful people who make work unique and fun. In the coming weeks, we will consecutively present the newest additions to the Curiosity Programme. You can find out about them from our social media channels or by using the #curiosityprogram hashtag on Instagram.
